How can we help?

To support the dataflow for the Past Champions, New Hires, or Promotions Signals, we ask that you create custom fields to ingest the information we provide.

Considerations:

• You should create these fields on both the Lead and Contact objects
  • Even if UserGems isn't creating leads, it's possible that some leads exist already in your system that we would enrich when relevant (vs creating a duplicate)
• Please also ensure that all UG fields are mapped in Lead Conversion
  • Object Manager -> Leads -> Fields & Relationships -> "Map Lead Fields"
• Need any custom data from the old contact on the new one? You can easily utilize formulas and our custom lookup fields mentioned below

By default, we will stamp a Lead Source of "UserGems" on any Leads or Contacts we create. Let us know if you'd prefer a different value.

Fields:

UG - No Longer at Company (Date)

• Updated on the departing contact. Date that we enriched this contact as no longer with the company. Many of our customers will sync this update with marketing and/or CS automation tools.
  
  • Field to map: Past Job > Job Ended Date (e.g. 2022-01-01)

UG - Past Contact (Lookup: Contact)

• Link to the contact record for their previously tracked job
  
  • Field to map: Past Job > Contact Id (e.g.: 00O3w000006GG9PEAW)

UG - Past Account (Lookup: Account)

• Link to the account where this job changer used to work
  
  • Field to map: Past Company > Account Id (e.g.: 00O3w000006GG9PEAW)

UG - Past Relationship Type (Text)

• This value represents the specific report/relationship that this job changer was being tracked on. You can always view all relationships being tracked within the UserGems web app. Values in the “Relationship” column are stamped into UG - Past Relationship Type
  
  • Field to map: Past Job > Relationship Type (e.g.: Champion)

UG - Persona (Text)

• If a UserGems delivered contact has a title matching the persona you defined within the UserGems web app, we will display the persona name here
  
  • Field to map: Current Job > Persona (e.g. ABM Leaders)
    

UG - Created By UG (Boolean/checkbox)

• Equals Yes for any contact created by UserGems
  
  • Field to map: True (static value)

UG - Last Updated (Date)

• The date that this lead or contact last enrolled in a UserGems workflow (i.e. the last date UserGems touched the record)
  
  • Field to map: Other > Current Date (e.g.: 2023-01-01)

UG - Initial Signal Source (Text)

• Indicates the signal for which UserGems created this person
  
  • Field to map: Person > Initial Signal Source
