To support the dataflow for the Past Champions, New Hires, or Promotions Signals, we ask that you create some custom fields to ingest the info we provide.

Considerations:

  • You should create these fields on both the Lead and Contact objects
    • Even if UG isn't creating leads, it's possible that some leads exist already in your system that we would enrich when relevant (vs creating a duplicate)
  • Please also ensure that all UG fields are mapped upon Lead Conversion
    • Object Manager -> Leads -> Fields & Relationships -> "Map Lead Fields"
  • Need any custom data from the old contact on the new one? You can easily utilize formulas and our custom lookup fields mentioned below

By default, we will stamp a Lead Source of "UserGems" on any Leads or Contacts we create. Let us know if you'd prefer a different value.

Fields:

UG - No Longer at Company (Date)

  • Updated on the departing contact. Date that we enriched this contact as no longer with the company. Many of our customers will sync this update with marketing and/or CS automation tools.

UG - Past Contact (Lookup: Contact)

  • Link to the contact record for their previously tracked job

UG - Past Account (Lookup: Account)

  • Link to the account where this job changer used to work

UG - Past Relationship Type (Text)

  • This value represents the specific report/relationship that this job changer was being tracked on. You can always view all relationships being tracked within the UserGems web app - values in the “Relationship” column are stamped into the UG - Past Relationship Type

UG - Persona (Text)

  • If a UserGems delivered contact has a title matching the persona you defined within the UG web app, we will display the persona name here

UG - Created By UG (Boolean/checkbox)

  • Equals Yes for any contact created by UserGems
