Past Champions

What is it?

The Past Champions signal identifies individuals who have previously engaged with your company—whether as buyers, users, or evaluators—and alerts you when they change jobs. Past champions are 3x more likely to purchase again. 

How it works

  1. Add tracked contacts to UserGems by navigating to Settings > Track Contacts. (Refer to the Tracked Contacts help article for more details.)
  2. Activate the Past Champions signal in the Signals Library.
  3. UserGems will scan these contacts weekly for job changes.
  4. When a job change is detected, UserGems surfaces their new company and updated contact information.
  5. Use campaign workflows to:
    • Create new contacts in your CRM automatically.
    • Notify your sales team via Slack alerts.
    • Enroll them in AI-driven email sequences.
