Gem-E Seller Content

Gem-E seller content is the foundation for how Gem-E communicates your product(s) and value proposition to the different personas you target. This content shapes how the AI speaks on your behalf—so it’s essential that it sounds like you.

When you first start using Gem-E, it will automatically generate a draft version of your value proposition and persona-specific pain points. This draft is based on information scraped from your website and LinkedIn.

While this gives you a helpful starting point, it's important to review and edit this content to ensure the messaging is aligned with your brand, sales approach, and outbound strategy. The language in these prompts will appear frequently across all messages—regardless of the signal detected.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to update your Gem-E seller content:

  1. Go to the Gem-E section of your app and open the Seller Content tab.

  2. Hover over the Value Proposition row and click the hamburger menu on the left.
    •  This will open the default value proposition and associated persona pain points.

  3. Start by reviewing the Value Proposition section.
    • Make sure it accurately reflects your product’s positioning and benefits.
    • Use the language your team wants represented in outbound emails—this is the messaging foundation.

  4. Next, update the Persona Pain Points section.
    • Tailor these to how your product or service solves specific pain points for each persona.
    • Add compelling conversation starter questions to grab attention and create relevance.

  5. Once your edits are complete, don’t forget to hit Save.

Managing Multiple Value Propositions

If your company offers multiple products or serves different types of buyers, it's important to set up additional value propositions.

  • Click the "Add Value Proposition" button to create a new one.
  • To save time, you can duplicate the pre-generated version and adjust it for each product or persona type.

This allows Gem-E to customize its messaging more precisely, depending on who it's reaching out to and what product you're selling.

Final Note

Updating your value propositions is a key step in customizing your Gem-E messaging—but it’s just one part of the equation.
